Having dealt with acne myself and knowing how much it affects your inner and outer world, helping someone with that through nutrition and lifestyle is very meaningful to me


Your morning routine?

I’m normally up at 6 in the morning. I do some light stretching for 10-15 minutes followed by a 15 min. meditation. While preparing breakfast, making school lunch and getting my daughter ready for school I have different kind of liquids. Warm water with lemon first thing, then coffee and a green juice for me and my family.

What does a typical work day look like?

I work as a Holistic Health and Nutrition coach - helping people with food and lifestyle choices. Aside from that, I do a few freelance assignments in the intersection between design, art, and fashion.

When do you feel most challenged?

When I’m putting myself out there, being heard and seen - it is uncomfortable for me but it's something that I’m working on.

Favorite book?

'The body keeps the score’ by Bessel A. Van der Kolk and for fiction - ‘Americanah’ by Chimamanda Adichie

One product you cannot live without ?

A pure olive oil soap bar

Your favorite biyō product?

That’s a difficult question because they are all really great products and they all smell amazing. If I have to choose I’ll say the Rich Face cream because of the richness, and the Solar Salt scented candle is right beside me at my desk, it smells amazing.

What’s in your fridge?

A lot of GREENS, especially leafy greens, seasonal veggies, always lemon and limes, dates, avocado and my husband's different kinds of fermented stuff - sourdough, kraut and pickles

What turning points have helped you define who you are today?

Becoming a mother has changed how I show up in the world.Another major thing has been dealing with cystic acne for many years, it taught me the importance of balancing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of my life.You can eat all the kale in the world but if the quality of your inner landscape is not good and you feel disconnected from yourself and your body the level of health and well-being you experience might not be much.
